SMS Opt-In Process
Chagrin Valley Handyman sends SMS only after a property owner gives consent through a website form or by verbally agreeing during an inbound phone call or on-site visit.
Website Opt-In
Property owners opt in on the public Chagrin Valley Handyman website by visiting chagrinvalleyhandyman.com/contact. The property owner enters their mobile number and actively checks an unchecked SMS consent box displayed adjacent to the phone field.
The consent box links to the Chagrin Valley Handyman Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Inbound Phone Call Opt-In
If a property owner calls Chagrin Valley Handyman at (440) 485-4021, the agent asks for permission before sending texts. SMS is sent only if the caller agrees.
In-Person Opt-In
During a service call or video estimate, a contractor may offer to send scheduling and follow-up texts. Consent is recorded on the service record before any message is sent.
Message Types
Consented contacts receive appointment scheduling and confirmation texts, quotes and project updates, missed-call follow-ups, and customer support replies. Chagrin Valley Handyman does not send promotional blasts to service-request numbers.
Opting Out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Mobile information and SMS consent are never sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
